Vulnerability from problems of others

3.7.2015

Question: Sir, if we listen to other's problems, will it affect us?

Answer: It depends on your awareness. If you are aware, it will not affect you. If you are not aware, it will affect you. Mind is like water. Whatever you put into the water, water will take the quality of the object. If you put a piece of sugarcane into the water, within a few minutes the water will become sweet.

If you put a piece of bitter gourd into the water, within a few minutes the water will become bitter. Awareness is like fire. Whatever you put into the fire, within a few minutes the object will become fire. If you are aware, you can listen to the problems of others and give suggestions. Then you will leave those problems there itself. You will not carry them.

If you are not aware, you will carry other's problems. Then they will become a burden to you. So you will try to transfer the burden to others. When you are aware, you will try to understand the problem. When you are unaware, you will get involved in the problem.

When you are involved in the problem, you will complicate the problem instead of solving it. So if anybody says their problem to you when you are not aware , better send them to those who are aware.

Good morning... Understand the problem without involving in it..💐
