Pot belly

Question: Sir..I don't like this pot belly.. but this is following me like my shadow. Just like the size of the shadow varies according to the light on me. This belly also varies but I don't know how to get rid of it and regain my beautiful and healthy body.. please help... 😊

Answer: Don't look at the shadow. Look at the light. Then you will not bother about the shadow. Belly is the symptom of relaxation. 😛

Exercise and diet are two ways to reduce pot belly.


Walking, Jogging, running and abdominal exercises.

Simple asanas:

Padahasthasana, Arda chakrasana, Trikonasana, Parivrida Trikonasana, Paschimothanasana, Ustrasana, Sarvangasana, Matsyasana, Halasana and Chakrasana.

Pranayama : Kapalbhati


1 Have more uncooked food like fruits, sprouts, vegetables and nuts.

2.Have less cooked food.

3.Eat only when you are hungry.

4.Observe limit and method.

5.Avoid foods that are hard to digest.

6. Observe fasting twice in a month.

7. Drink enough water.

8. Reduce the quantity of intake. But you can increase the times from 3 to 4 if necessary.

9. Let your dinner be very little.

10. Go to bed 2 hours after dinner.
