Meditation and Mind control

Updated: Mar 26, 2020

Question: Sir, Should a controlled mind meditate in order to realize the self or to control mind one needs to meditate?

Answer: The aim of the meditation is to realize the self. However, you cannot achieve this without stopping the wavering mind. The nature of the mind is wavering. Meditation reduces the waves of the mind and finally makes it still. If you directly try to control your mind, it will be like fighting with your mind. It is almost impossible to control the mind directly. Nevertheless, if you focus your mind to realize yourself, your mind will support. Here you control your mind indirectly. As the Self is the origin of the mind, if you focus your attention on the Self, it has to merge into the Self. In this way, it is easy to control the mind. Therefore, meditation is done to realize the self. As a result, mind is controlled.

Good Morning ... Meditate to realize the self.. 💐
